TINGKO SELECT是由一位室內設計師在發掘特色家居用品；尋找其背後主理人故事及靈感中而誕生的品牌。
為了在日常中隨時點綴魔法的氛圍，我們注意到日本吉卜力工作室創造的每一部作品中，總會出現讓人觸碰到魔法而迸發的生命力，其中《 霍爾的移動城堡 》裡卡西法除了是給予房子動力的火焰、拯救霍爾的力量，也是回到城堡的路徑，最觸動人心的莫過於卡西法變成閃爍星光在空中飛舞。
透過以上的啟發，觀察各種形式 「 光 」 的表現，我們將其視為Logo Mark的核心，象徵著魔法、情感、力量、創造力、家園以及思維的精髓，並將這些概念轉化為多種圖像運用於視覺設計上。在日常生活中尋找魔法，探索生活空間中的神奇之處。
TINGKO SELECT (@tingkoselect) was founded in 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan, born from an interior designer’s pursuit for unique home goods with kindred personalities and stories — offering a touch of magic for our interior lives.
We are inspired by the way that daily magical moments can be discovered in the most unexpected of places and around corners of your homes. We wanted to go against the current state of perfectionist and minimalist interior design status quo to allow people to feel confident in sharing and appreciating the real and perhaps messier sides of our inner lives at home, a la Apartamento magazine. Our mark represents “light” which has a transformative power, inspired by Calcifer, the fire spirit in Studio Ghibili’s work “Howl’s Moving Castle.”
Basing the light sign as the core of the mark, we used it to develop more symbols to communicate magic, emotion, power, creativity, home and more. We believe in the variety and the personal nature of the ideas of “home” and finding your own spark whenever you come home.
We worked carefully with the first-time founder and entrepreneur from branding, web, print, packaging, to content, editorial and more.
