Jialun Xiong, a Los Angeles-based designer from Chongqing, China, explores duality and creativity in the design of interiors, furniture, lighting and accessories. Her work is graphic, exaggerated and rigorous, pushing the boundaries of structure and balancing positive and negative space. Inspired by her unique philosophy and approach, her website design incorporates Lao Tzu's thoughts on negative space and spatiality, demonstrating the Zen principles of negative space, inspiring contemplation and focus, and creating harmony and balance.
